Eat Healthy Live Healthy

Welcome!

Welcome to the Prescott Healing Arts Association website.  Through combined years of study, experience and successful practice our members in the Prescott area can corroborate with modern medical science to recognize that a complimentary approach to healing often goes hand in hand with traditional treatment of conditions and in many cases has been shown to be a deciding factor for a successful outcome.

From doctors to massage & color therapists to spiritual counselors, PHAA members in general acknowledge that no one person can do it all and that each of us has a unique and essential place in an individual’s healing process at various times.

PHAA recognizes that people come from many walks of life with varying cultural beliefs and rich individual experiences that often require more than one approach in the healing process. PHAA membership is quite diverse and ranges from naturopathic & chiropractic doctors, massage therapists & acupuncturists, trauma resolution, life-coach & spiritual counselors, plain old “natural born” healers and even animal-therapy healers. We are a growing community and we look forward to connecting, collaborating with and serving your needs.

We have created a Glossary of Modalities for your reference. The gifts, talents and educational training of our Members is vast, so this glossary will be most helpful in identifying the specialty you seek. We add to it regularly as new members join and as existing members continue education in the passion for healing.

Many people have visited the idyllic, old west town of Prescott for its scenic beauty and perfect climate.  Once best known for its “Whiskey Row” red light district, times have certainly changed for this rural cowboy town.  Downtown art galleries and unique shops flourish throughout the year.  But they are not the only sign of cultural evolution.

It may be a surprise to some that Prescott also has a diverse, highly qualified holistic health community.  In fact, the number of complimentary health care practitioners, body workers and healers runs into the hundreds.  Very impressive for a small town community.

About PHAA

The Prescott Healing Arts Association was formed in 2007 to connect holistic practitioners with one another and to help build a stronger community.  Membership is made up of individuals and businesses that offer a variety of natural healing modalities.  Through regular meetings, free events and member communication, the Prescott Healing Arts Association provides a medium for the cooperative exchange of information, builds social relationships and provides good fellowship among its members and the Community at large.

One goal the organization has is that the greater Prescott area become recognized as the community it already is for delivering outstanding complimentary health resources. In many ways Prescott already well rivals Sedona as a new age, spiritual and healing location in Arizona. But more than that, Prescott has a down-to-earth, practical and scientifically/medically sound side that Sedona often lacks.

Feel free to explore our developing website and contact any listed members. We are here for You & it is a personal joy for us to be doing what we do.
